Pretty much what the thread title says, has anyone had any luck mounting traction boards in the bed under the stock tonneau cover, and if so which brackets did you use? I’m often doing solo exploring, and while I don’t do anything crazy I wouldn’t mind the extra peace of mind. I’d rather not mount them on the exterior for both aerodynamic reasons and the fact that they’d be easy for someone to nab, even with them locked down. Thanks!

I’m considering this mounting option, except my tonneau is a BAKflip. The boards would have to mount on the third panel, which is the one closest to the cab. My only concern is clearance towards the floor
