That's one of the reasons I like the glass door, tray models. You can watch food melt, burn, etc. ;)

Cut a potato into fries, toss in some olive oil, then 400* til crispy, time varies by quantity of potatoes but prolly 15 min or so. Shake basket often during cook.
Sprinkle with salt when done and enjoy :)

The freezer section is your friend. Buy a couple potato products, just mainly to get a feel for the temperature ramp and profile of the unit. Before doubting a recipe or cooking skills.

Holy shit this thing is awesome. We did some trader Joe's veggie bird nests and they were perfectly crispy and not soggy or oily

Leftover French bread, a good layer of pizza sauce, pepperoni, lots of motz. Excellent.
370f for 8 minutes. The bread was a nice crispy crunch.

So tonight I did chicken, boneless skinless thighs. We did them at 370 for 15 minutes. The first batch I layed flat they are thin and juicy and delicious in 15 should have swapped the top rack for the bottom, half way through. The second batch I rolled up a bit to make them thicker and juicier. These will be used for tacos later this week.... They needed and extra 5 on the bottom, again should have rotated them half way through.

I also did an app basket. Some veggie things and a pimento cheese and date puff.

All three cycles done before the pot of rice on the stove. I did some broccoli and carrots steamed about half way through. About 45 minutes total and this thing is great. I highly recommend and instant read thermometer as I was able to pull them at just the right time and let the bottom with less circulation further from the heat finish as well

I didn't take a picture cause i was so damn hungry last night but did the maiden cook using my Ninja Indoor Grill (which airfry's as well) and I was impressed with the "grilled" chicken, only cooked once but I can tell I'm going to use the hell out of it. Since I live in an apartment always hated not being able to grill but this might be the greatest xmas present I have ever gotten  will update either tonight or tomorrow doing ahi tuna and shrimp tonight :bananadance:

Grilled and air fried all in under 15 minutes, only about 10 minutes of prep :yay:FC5981A1-53D2-41B8-8408-7CFF6903B2EF.jpg

My first attempt at using the Foodi. A couple of Ribeyes, 400 at 12 minutes, with a herb butter baste as soon as I took them out. Yummy
