I have 2019 TRD Off Road Tacoma 17” TRD wheels with BFG 285/70/17 with a 3” spacer in front and 2” block in rear I want to remove the 3” spacer In front and the 2”block in back and replace with ????? I don’t got a whole lot of cash about 1000 to spend what should I get ? I don’t do off road that much fire trails desert trails etc... should I start in front at first and with what??? Or start in back ??? Or if the price is right do both .. would fox 2.0 coil overs do the trick or bilstien 5100 ?? I’m new to this and don’t want to get blasted by the snobby up scale off roaders I just want a decent truck with a smoother ride on a budget

First off, save more money. You need more than a grand if you want anything other than 5100s and a rear block.

I'd say for what you describe, the Fox shocks don't sound like they would be worth it. Those will be almost $1,000 just for the shocks, no rear lift, and not including installation if you can't do it yourself.

What I would do is get 5100s set to the lowest position with OME springs for the front(do some research to see which ones would be right for you), a front 1/4" spacer for the driver side lean, and either an add-a-leaf or a new leaf pack for the rear lift. If you tow or haul loads at all I'd just get a new leaf pack like the Dakar pack. The stock leaves aren't great. You will also need extended brake lines.

The 5100s, OME springs, top plate spacer, Dakar leaf pack, and brake lines all together should run you somewhere in the ballpark of $1300-$1400. And I can tell you from experience that Buy Once Cry Once applies here.
