Drew an antelope tag last year and was able to get one with my recurve on the 2nd day of the season. Such a cool animal and very tasty!

    Thank you!

Those are some type of seeds stuck in the fur.

Briars and a strong drive to point is what caused the ear bleeding. She would have hunted all day if allowed.

    Thank you!

Not sure what they're called but it is some type of seed.

    Edit: closeup of seed

No idea man. I highly doubt it, but i know nothing about scoring antelope. This one will be the only one that Ill ever kill, so I just wanted a nice representative of the species. Im not a PnY or BnC member anyway. Whenever the taxidermist calls to tell me that its ready, Ill ask him to give me a rough score, just to have a number to tell people when they ask!

Loved the meat. Meat is extremely lean and has a great flavor.

On the first day of the season that same buck came up and stood 5 yards in front of my pit blind and i could smell him. He didnt smell delicious at all! But 2 days later when i was able to get a shot at him and killed him, he had no smell at all. Thought that was kinda strange. Im used to shooting pigs...where a big smelly boar smells ALL the time!
