Do you know how to use it? I've been interested for a while, but I'm afraid to try using one.

 

I know 5/8 of bumfuk nothing about that thing I was going to call CT Motorsports and see if they'd be willing to do a tune

I doubt ski has much experience working with those tuners.

I'll have to source someone within Ontario to tune before I purchase.

 

Only issue may be legality - I had red LEDs in my skull emblem. Got pulled over after having them for 5 years with no issues.

Got a $110 fine for having coloured lights (red, green, blue) on the front of my truck and a 10 minute lecture on why they shouldn't be there.

He gave me a choice of that ticket or one for 27kms over the speed limit - I chose the lights...… Cheaper and no points.

Any Tacoma owner that has it in non stock condition got some kind of "crisis" condition in life lol

 

my crisis is setting the truck up to go down to Texas to meet up with a few buddies and camp out at Big Bend national park some time next year. I have no idea what i should prep the truck for

hell if i can convince my work to let me take a month or two break, in the form of me quitting my job for that time and me coming back. That way i could try and kill 2 birds with 1 stone and haul ass from Tuktoyaktuk right down to chicago and head down to basically Mexico.

Big Bend is awesome! Loved that place, just bring a tent and beer cooler. I did that trip with my tiny tiny tires and was fine.

 

Seems a lot of guys in the states know how to use it, but you'd have ship them the ecu.
But I'd probably be interested in going in on this with you if someone can be found that knows how to use it.

 

Anyone here knows how to vinyl wrap panels?

isn't that the one you busted a CV or replaced a wheel or something? or was that hell's revenge?

i've installed Vinyl flooring a few times, couldn't be too different

 

Youtube will show you the way.

I am betting a blow dryer, and something to cut the vinyl are the only tools needed
