Greetings, I'm new to Tacoma world. Recently bought a 2008 Tacoma 4 liter V6 4x4 Access Cab with 6 speed manual tranny. My question is, I'm considering adding an engine oil cooler because I may get a small pull behind camper or a slide in Pop Up. I'm still in the process of deciding. I live in the west in the mountains and travel a great deal for work. I'm curious if this is a good idea and being somewhat of a gearhead, if I need a larger radiator to accommodate the add heat. Any suggestions?

Welcome to TW! I've seen guys add trans coolers if their truck didn't come with the towing package.

Get something like a Scangauge II. Monitor your fluid temperatures. My experience is my engine oil temperature stays consistent with my water temperature. My torque converter transmission temps have spiked Up to 285f.
