Picked up a brand new OEM short bed mat at a nearby dealer for pretty good deal and "installed" it! Looked around for a used one, but kept seeing prices close to brand new so I decided to just pick this one up. Already can tell how much grip this will provide for items I put in the bed.

There is part of the seat mechanism that hangs down lower than the tracks that prevents the seat from being able to be lowered. I'm sure there would be a way to modify the current mechanism but at that point it stops being plug and play.

As far as making the seat move up

Yup dem seats aren't so great.... I went to the local upholstery shop and got some xtra dense foam, added 2" to the seat, and then shaved it to my comfy spot, added 1 " to the back, some 4"to the sides as bolsters, thru a set of seat covers on it and been pretty happy........

Im waiting for metal Tech to resume stocking the "box" and then will probably gut the whole seat thing and replace with quality buckets..

Just ordered a Detroit Trutrac, Yukon 4.30 ring and pinion, and master install kit from ECGS for $935 shipped tax included.
I hope I didn't go to low as I was debating between the 4.10 and the 4.30.
Once these 265/75/16 AT3 4S are done I'm gonna step up to some 285/70/17 with some gunmetal TRD wheels.
I'm sure the 4.10s would be perfect for what I have now but I figure might as well go with the 4.30 as to not need another ring and pinion down the road.
I don't have any armor but I do have about 250-300 extra lbs behind the passenger seat with the battery, sub and box.
You guys think I made the right gearing choice?
    BTW I'm 6speed v6 2wd.

Called my local maaco because Toyota and all the other paint shops were ridiculously expensive like 1300+ for just the shell. Maaco basically gave me two options. Drop it off as is and they will prep it, paint it and re install it = 850.00. I do the prep, mask it, and 700.00.

40.00 plasti dip white works amazing until I repaint my whole truck with raptor in the very near future.

I had mine done by a collision center for $400. Local Maaco price was the same. I had other quotes $1500 to $800. Some just flat out said not interested in the job. Shop around.

I would love this, for both front seats. That's one of the things I miss most about my Isuzu, they were leather, powered, and very adjustable.

You should retract that statement as I just saved you $5 :D. I went with a textured one to promote grip when I use it.

If you don't want paint on it, remove it or prep it yourself.. Maaco shops are high volume, they don't take the time. Trust me, I know. Had my truck painted my them. They missed a small area by the back window, old paint showing through. No excuse for that. There are other issues, but I don't want to high-jack the thread. ;)

Wow, that's awesome. As to your question, it sounds like a logical choice to me.
