    Hi all.

The title of this thread isn't really true, I owned a first gen Tacoma back in the early 90s but that truck bore no resemblance to my new 2020 4x4 Sport so I claim "First Tacoma" as valid.

Anyway, I'm Rudge and until recently I was driving a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 Level 2 with 3" lift on 33s with a manual transmission and a manual transfer case. (yes, there are two shift knobs ;) )

Loved that truck and intended to drive it until I died. Well,, it died first so I had to start doing some research on mid sized 4x4 pickups and we all know where that landed me, squarely and without doubt, right here.

I drove it home on the 1st day of the year what a new years I had.

I love the thing but I've already got a million questions if you all will be patient with me. I've owned my share PC's and worked on computers and teck gear all my life but I've never owned a computer controlled truck so there might be a learning curve for me. I did manage to buy a manual transmission at least in my Tacoma so that makes me feel at home.

Howdee to all and thanks for providing a welcoming atmosphere.

I'll get some pics up soon. Right now I'm still suffering from 21st century technology shock.

I've never owned a computer controlled truck before. LOL

The Ranger died a slow and painful death at the hands of electrical gremlins over a two year time span.

Eventually, I was poring more money into it than it was worth.

Yeah it was my first time as well. I had a '93 and an '01 Grand Cherokee prior to this truck. If you're anything like me you'll love some of the tech and hate a lot of it. Welcome to the forum!
