I wouldn't really call it a secret since everyone knows it. Well at least anyone with a bike. But yeah it's a nice place to go for a ride. There are a ton of small time local trails everywhere you go though. Just need to know what to look for.

Didnt see clayton park listed. Its a smaller trail system with some good climbs and nice flow, plus after he ride you can hit screamin hill brewery since its like 2 miles away. Considered upper freehold area of nj

Heading to Wilmington with the family this weekend, camping at the KOA and riding the town park, Quaker, Hardy Rd. and Poor Mans Downhill for sure, might get into Lake Placid and Saranac Lake if the family is into it. Let me know if anyone else is in the area.

Thread revive. Just rode the Rochester VT RASTA trails, awesome machine cut singletrack. It's small with not a ton of options, but worth it for a post-work ride. 40 mins up and down for a washed-up DH guy, ha. The map is here, https://www.rastavt.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Rochester_Valley_Trails6_28_20.jpg Park at the Rochester ranger station and the trial is in the back. Very well marked with a little pumptrack to the side. Old Gents is a very nice flowy singletrack with some nice gapable tables.

I got out for a bit this morning on the Blueberry trails in Elizabethtown in the Adirondacks. There are some new work-in-progress trails that climb to higher open rock, but I haven't had a chance to try them out yet.

For anyone interested, NICA NY scholastic MTB racing league for 6-12th graders, state championships are at Windham Sunday starting at 10am. Got kids that do or may like to bike, come check it out! Teams from around the state, cool big venue vibe! Elm Ridge and RoundTop are both nearby but I don’t think the lifts are running at Windham yet. Stop by the Mt. Goats tent (black and red plaid) and ask for Coach J!

Nope, a bunch of tents, trailers and motor homes. I’m sure campfires need to be contained…fire pit or solo stove or similar.
