    09JAN2020 - Just bought this beat up old 1st gen 4runner. It doesn't run, the body is beat up, wiring is horrendous, missing front bumper and crossmember, missing turn signal lights, topper is cut out in the back, tailgate only latches on one side and is dented, tail lights are cracked, and a million other things are wrong with it.... should be a good project, I'll update this when I make any good progress lol.

    Got the engine running and it had a bad knock and squeeling sound when given throttle. Took the engine out and tore it down. One of the rod bearrings was destroyed and the head gasket was blown.
