I'm taking it that you've never seen 70s model Broncos...

Back then, they all kind of looked the same. If you've noticed, auto manufacturers sort of copy each other. When Ford did retro mustang, the camaro followed, then charger, etc...

I'm with you, man. I was making the point that Ford didn't rip off the FJ Cruiser. Classic Land Cruiser vs classic Bronco, that's a whole other level. I'd get another FJ if they made them like in this picture. If they put a 5.0 in that Bronco, I'm selling my Tacoma immediately.

As a former FJ owner, I don't think the new Bronco looks anything like it. Classic Bronco all the way. Maybe too much given how far they strayed from the concept designs. Anyway, I like it and, in spite of it being a Ford will probably consider it in the future. You know there's a Bronco pick up in the offing. Right?

Hopefully this will spur Toyota to put the FJ back on the market. Probably not, but I can dream.

That would be a fun SUV :burnrubber:

Unfortunately, doubt Ford will put the Coyote 5.0 in there. Most likely a boosted 4 and 6 motors.

Sad but true. A TT 3.5L would be appealing, but likely not enough to sway me. Though it'll probably end up with a 2.7L Ecoboost.

I know the TT 3.5L has more power and torque than the NA 5.0L but can't beat that V8 sound especially in the 5.2L. I miss my Mustang, just wasn't practical.
