    Plenty of mods to come.
Wife’s air freshener screwed her dash up on her 2017 Tundra.
She hung her air freshener from the Tune knob and this is the result.
The truck is her baby and she (and I) are not very happy.
Now for the question. Without replacing the radio, any other tips, ideas or solutions?
Trying to find out if these trim pieces can be replaced or perhaps removed and repainted, though admittedly not with the same “wood grain” effect.
Trying to make the most of it.

dang tells you something about the chemicals used in those products...

op you have a couple different options here

could replace with oem parts either new or used
could sand it down and spray it with something like a rattle can / plasti derp
could sand it down then get some vinyl and wrap it

edit: so the damage is on the actual radio and not the side trim... maybe try taking it to the dealership and complain. DO NOT TELL THEM ABOUT THE AIR FRESHENER!!!!!! just play dumb and complain that it started happening by itself...

Someone at the car wash scrubbed off a small piece of gray coating on the vent trim and my dealer replaced the part under warranty. Maybe bring it up. But yeah, those air fresheners have to be volatile to get airborne, and volatile usually means some kind of organic vapor that can melt plastic.

Best bet is finding a unit from a salvage and installing it. If this is an issue, a paint job will probably bug her too. Or maybe an opportunity to get a nice aftermarket stereo with CarPlay ;)
