Do you or do we have an idea on what they are producing for the SC pulley? Similar to what was originally going to be made or the old design that @TRON has? That is at least the last part I am waiting on before I tear down.

Great. Was not sure if it changed or not. If they meet the dates they told us we should be getting some pulleys soon.

Anyone hear back about the Alt Pulley?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
I have not engaged yet and was waiting for the SC pulley to go in all at once. I also figure why not for the 160 thermo while
I have the fan off and radiator out.

Probably the best strategy actually. I should get a 160 and have it ready for when I do all the pulleys and the belt.

Thats my plan too. Ill be doing the S/C then radiator, 160 therm, pulleys, S/C Pulley and working on injectors too. just waiting for the S/C one to go in. Will be a bummer to have to wait for this one pulley.

I think they said some time mid this month if I remember correctly. I'd have to go back and check. Either way they have either taken an extended new year's close or have been hard at work with orders because they have not replied back to a few of the members yet.

I don't even remember my name half the time. I only recall it from the paper that was in the box. Just itching to get all of this started.

I wouldn’t wait just for the SC crank pulley. That is a super easy swap out

For everyone asking about the NST overdrive kit and what it entailed from pm’s. The NST SC crank pulley was much larger in diameter than the stock TRD SC crank pulley. Therefore the two TRD pulleys marked in the diagram below had to be replaced as well. So NST included two smaller version pulleys in order for everything to fit properly.

I have a couple other things I am lining up as well but push come to shove the SC is a minor detail. I have a 2.8 and 2.5 in case I do not have time to get to the Fuel Pump and Valve job right away.

I was wondering what fits down there. all the install instructions from Magnuson show it without the bumper removed. They have some compact tools for sure. Easy enough to pull a plate bumper but option to swap without doing all that is nice.

What impact do you have that fits? The convenience is worth it.

Ingersoll Rand 231C. This badass piece of machinery busts that bolts on and off all day and night. We have a 140 psi compressor that drives this thing though, so the strength of this gun depends how much oomph your air compressor has. This is my go to beast for this job though, everytime.

nice, I just saw a bunch of Ingersoll impacts on sale. I wonder if my air tank on the track will work in short bursts. I have it set to 140 or 150 PSI or could use the C02 at 155. My bigger compressor/tank is a POS.

It's a slightly larger model over this one below, either way either will work, but I prefer IR impacts.. they have always been absolutely bulletproof. This one would fit with zero issues no problem in that tight space, but I love the small IR gun for this job.

This model is the Mac Tools AWP050M. It definitely packs a serious punch as well.
