I had the Katzkin seats with the heating installed at the dealership when I first bought they truck and they are great. One of the heating pads in the drivers seat just burned out a few months ago and to replace it cost $100, but they heat up SUPER fast now. I highly recommend them if you live in colder climates. They offer aftermarket cooled and heated seat options as well for $1000... so a little pricey unless you have the means

I took my tacoma to the Dealership out here in the East Bay for a transmission flush and brake service. My 2015 truck is at 141k miles and have never done any service on the transmission or the brakes. I was getting worried because the truck started doing a rough shift from P to R and from P to D when idle and noticing some gear slipping on downhill/uphills, noticed this a couple weeks ago.

Got my truck back after 700$ and still having the rough shift when shifting P to R or D but runs noticeably smoother and no more slipping while doing regular driving. Probably got roasted on the brake service but I figured i might as well get it done also.

On pick up of the truck, the service advisor recommended new spark plugs and a decarb service for 400$ o_O not sure if i want do do the service through them or through a local mechanic as I heard the price is about 2/3 less than the dealership

Some more #broverlander bling, factor 55 splicer shackle mount. But for real, one less piece of metal in the winch line makes me a happy camper

    That looks awesome!

My 1st choice back in 2004 was gold wheels but they had just been discontinued....
Been drooling ever since bronze made an appearance.

Put a set with optional bronze beadlock rings on my camo quad but still havent done it on my truck...

I really like the design of the TC bed stiffners but I couldn't get over the price of admission. Installed the CaliRaised this morning.
0111201258b.jpg I also picked up some Gorilla locks.

For about $20 and two hours of work you can do this yourself.

I'm curious, what do you use those small D rings for?
    20200111_122240.jpg

Due to my former job I've had to remove a lot of different styles of wheel locks without the wheel lock key. I've never gotten the opportunity to get past Gorilla Wheel Locks, it looks like it could be entertaining as long as the person is getting paid by the hour like I was at the time (LOL).

A few mods here and there and counting....
Replaced two upper idler pulleys, one lower idler pulley, belt tensioner bearing, and serpentine belt. Easier than I thought. Part numbers listed for reference incase anyone asks. The Gates pulleys were from Amazon, Nachi bearing from ebay, and belt from Toyota.

    Pro tips:
-Approach this task from the bottom, once the skid plate is removed, you'll have all the room you need.
-The belt tensioner pulley is reverse threaded. The bearing is very easy to press out/in.
-Route the belt around the fan, its very easy.
-Top two idler pulleys 29ft/tor, bottom pulley 40ft/tor, belt tensioner 27 ft/tor

I was long overdue for this maintenance. This immediately solved my cold start squeaks and a loose knocking sound. Turns out the tensioner pulley bearing and lower idler pulley were shot and loose.

Blacked my fenders And mirrors out. Not sure if I love it yet. A black front bumper would do it imo. Thoughts?

It’s been a few months since I washed the truck and wanted it to be clean while it sits in the garage for awhile. Just bought myself a 98 corolla with 60k on it.
