    UPDATE:

CASH BACK Deals will be getting mailed out on Monday! Please check your receipts to make sure your payments have been applied correctly to follow the payment process on the first page of this thread. If you selected Paying for an Item or Service with a Credit Card and forgot to adjust your payment for the Convenience Fees of 2.9% of the payment amount + a flat fee of $0.30, please make sure to go back and do so now.

For example, with the Grab Handle Cost of $165 that would come out to $165 x 2.9% + $0.30 = $5.085.

Prior to sending these out, I will touch base with those if need be. Thank You!

I’m not sure I follow. This is what I paid. Do I still owe $5.085? Why not just bake this into the website price?

How are we to add the convenience fee now that the order is placed on your online website and payment made? There was no mention of the fees on the website, by the way. Payment was $177.80 total (165+12.80 priority mail). Don't mind paying the fee, but also don't know how to accomplish it now. I think you should fix your website to add the fee on checkout.

What a cluster f**k. $165 at 2.9% is $169.785 + $0.3 = $170.085 or add an additional $5.085. Well in our world its either $5.08 or $5.09 as we don't deal in 1/2 cents. If I have already paid $165 with free shipping to the lower 48 how do I send you an additional $5.09 as your web site does not provide that option. As others have pointed out your web site at checkout does not say you have to pay extra if using a credit card. You are not creating confidence in your new product. Why not just increase the price to $170 and do away with this mickey mouse stuff.

BTW PayPal, owned by E-Bay straps you over a barrel and sticks it you if you are the seller.

@tonered, I missed all the stuff about extra fees. I went direct from the website to PayPal, that’s why I’m asking if there are extra fees requested. There was no indication of it when going direct through PayPal. I don’t mind, just want to know.

Edit: I’m not eligible for the cash back.

I’ll admit, as soon as I saw it was available on the website I just went through that assuming that was setup as a full purchase price instead of going through the pre-sale PayPal option. Didn’t look for anything about additional fees over the listed purchase price...

I've made this mistake before as I was getting excited about a mod part. PayPal makes it easy to click through that.

When I did, I just sent the extra to the seller.

Hi, love this product, I'm just curious as far as the texture goes. Will the texture on the driver side pillar match exactly to the passenger side pillar? From the pictures it looks like the pillar your having made looks completly smooth and the factory passenger side pillar looks slightly textured. Thank you for any information! And photos of the rear handles yet?

I asked the same thing and got the same type of response above ^^^ which doesn’t exactly answer the question if you ask me. You (I) asked about the texture not material. Oh great so the plastic used is the same as oem  but material used doesn’t dictate texture- the texture is built into the mold and the only thing mentioned about that was “spending money on the mold”
    @fatboyfirebass
So it’s not exactly a conclusive answer

Fair enough. Dissecting the original response, it did not explicitly state texture.I have taken it on faith that the texture will be added to the steel after pre-grain approval, is granted. When my order arrives, I will share pictures and let everyone know if in fact this is the case, so they can make an informed decision about purchase.

FWIW, I believe prior responses also said her manufacturer also makes OEM Toyota products. She’s confident that color and texture will be identical to your right side pillar.

    But I’ll let her confirm.

@KTJO 4x4 , could you please advise as to the dollar amount of any PayPal fees you are requesting. It appears to be different for sales outside USA. Thanks.

@KTJO 4x4, I want to order one of these soon as well as the heads-up display. But maybe when all these logistic stuff are already sorted out and the products are actually already available in stock. No doubt you’re a genius and one of the few who creates the nicest mods for our rigs.

Pre-ordering helps @KTJO 4x4 out by helping with the high start up costs. The cash outlay needed for molding dies, initial production, shipping, etc are quite high. I'll bet there's a good chance this and the HUD would not happen without substantial pre-orders.

True. You have a point and I agree with you. Ok I guess I’ll just place my order then.
