With that being said, after waiting forever for parts to arrive I FINALLY finished my new suspension setup!

Extended King shocks all around with resi’s and adjusters. 700lb springs up front. SPC UCA’s(already installed). Icon RXT leaf pack on stage 2 in the rear. Durobump bump stops up front, Timbren bump stops in the rear and a u-bolt flip kit to finish it all off. Sitting at ~2.5-3” of lift on 285/75-16 Patagonia Milestars.

Found a loading ramp to test articulation, shock compression and tire clearance with 0 issues. Cant wait to get it out on some trails!!!

How long did you run those emu’s? Was considering them but now you got me nervous...
But in Hindsight... Anything you could have done differently to prevent them from seizing up?

Lube them with anti seize when putting the bolt in...threaded and smooth portion.

Get the OME’s, they are great. PO put them on 4 years ago at 60k or so, truck has 125k on it now. Throw some grease or anti-sieze to keep it from happening. Setup still performed great before I pulled it off.

Just don't run washboard roads at high speeds for extended periods, or catch air, they'll have a good chance of blowing. A friend told me. :hattip:

But for normal use, they are good.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Truck is boss Chris, can’t wait to check it out. I know your stoked! I can only imagine the change in ride.

Also, keep us posted on those tires and your thoughts on them.

Anyone know somebody with land in Clayton, Forsyth, Dekalb, Or Fulton I could possible do some bow hunting on? In need of some deer meet and have been skunked all year. Trying to get one in the extended bow season.

Do your U-bolts hit? They look way longer than the bumps. It'd suck to find out about that later if they get damaged offroad.

I’ll piggy-back off your request with another... if anybody knows anybody that would let folks on their land to do some target practice (after deer season of course) that would be

They are pretty solid. I decided to put a winch on my truck and will do a semi hidden bumper as well. I have a barely used pair I will sell you if you're interested. They are in great shape. I am in Smyrna.

    ....oops....

I don't foresee a topper in this trucks future as of now. It'll start with a mid-rise bed rack with an RTT then eventually ill probably do a GFC.

Thanks!! Super happy with the current setup. Gotta take some measurements as it is now so when the springs settle i can adjust back if need be.

Thanks man! Getting her aligned today, super stoked to finally have it all set up properly. Will do, taking them out for their inaugural trip this weekend.

Nope! Close, but they clear. I will trim them down but im waiting for the springs to settle first, to see if i need to add the additional leaf, or a spacer. But i may also go ahead and trim .5-.75", that should leave me with enough threads if i add anything.

Been doing this for years. Those clips that come on the axles are crap. That’s where the failing point is for sure.
Good call, you will be stoked you did that.
