What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Not too many times do we have 70 degree days in January. I took advantage of it and cleaned up the truck and RAV4

 

Ya I dont count road bikes

 

The drop bars are gravel bikes

 

Paid 80 dollars for brackets to lower my ditch lights a tad more than an inch lol. I used a certain brands low profile ditch light brackets and rago super low rigid d series brackets. This certain company I've had issues with before, so i stripped down the powdercoat they put on and re did it with Prismatic powders coating, same stuff that's on my sliders and I've had no issues with it. I also made my canopy sleeper a bit more homie with a redbull flag from my old bedroom. Feels cool to be 12 again.

 

Painted a shifter panel I picked up locally over the weekend. Very pleased, dash ac surrounds and steering wheel are next!

I installed the same last year. Not enough anchor straps but they are OK

 

Was browsing @HeadStrong Off-Road and came across this, my truck back in 2015 makes me kind of miss my stock bumper

 

Mounted/wired a cheap amber lightbar my friend gave me.

 

getting ready to do this myself! Hopefully have my shell back from paint this week!

 

Took all weekend, clutch help from a good friend, still need to add a few accessories, but so far I am very happy with my new Expedition One high clearance dual swing out rear bumper!

 

Raptor liner was spray on. Struggled a bit with getting the correct air compressor pressure for the best spray but it turned out nice.

 

Cleared off snow. Something we.dont much off

 

do a few practice sprays with the raptor liner to dial in the air pressure that you like best. I liked the higher pressure a bit better. I also used some adhesion promoter just in case.

 

installed spyder headlights and color matched grille surround - truck is a TRD Offroad with chrome surround but I liked the Sport color matched surround vs. Offroad chrome

 

also did the color match rear bumper with a set of DEPO tail lights - a little bit of struggle with getting a tail light that worked properly but all is good now.

 

I've thought about getting those headlights too. They've been on my Amazon wishlist forever. How's the quality compared to your stock ones?

 

Installed Hellwig rear sway bar! Looking forward to test riding it tomorrow...

 

I read mixed reviews on the light quality but I am happy with the light projection. They needed an adjustment for the beam angle which was no big deal.

 

Perhaps a fellow washingtonian?

 

No 1/2 north of the border. Might be an interesting commute in.the morning
