I'm disappointed that both ProClip mounts are up high. Was hoping for something closer to the charging pad but angled.

I used 3m tape to hold it down btw. I didn't have the balls to drilled or open my head unit LOL...

Got this one for Christmas. I forget what brand but it's 8" tall on a flexy stalk. Tacomas already have a short cab height so I didn't want anything like a dash mount that might stick up into the field of view. My Entune is the basic model w/o Toyota nav or Sirius, so with bluetooth I run Pandora to the head unit and run Waze off the phone. Kinda wish Toyota would have provided USB power from the dash but oh well.

I am confused “USB power from the dash”. Is that not a USB port in your dash in the photo? Or are you referencing something else?

That's just data in, isn't it? I plugged in a thumb drive into it to get my start-up pic loaded.

It’s both, the one in the center console is just power. I have an iPod plugged into the dash and it plays the music and keeps the iPod charged.

I have the non-pro version atteached to my windshield to the left. I mount my phone horizontally and left side is held by magnet, right side sets against dash. Great location.

Just ordered a Scosche Magicmount Pro thinks to this thread. Had the regular version in my last truck and it was great. Forgot about these things..
