    Hi
So recently after not driving my truck for a month i started it up and I was getting Blind spot detection Unavailable error. It would flash up on my screen for only a second and beep then go away. It will beep maybe 2 to 3 times every min.
The system works as i tested blind spot lights on the highway and the rear traffic alert also works.

Ive also noticed sometimes it does not even turn on when i start the truck until i turn it off and back on.

What I have done with no success.
Took off both bumper caps. Cleaned and removed the sensors and connections up to the harness that feeds into the main one under the truck. Still same error.

Pulled the battery cable because I was pissed off. Still no luck....

Any ideas ? I see that 10A IG1No. 2 fuse controls the BSM but thats fine..
Maybe another module in the truck?

Bring it to Toyota, they had to replace the whole unit for me . Then the same thing happened again then I got a rear bumper to get rid of it. Mine worked 10% of the time.

I had a similar problem with mine. I turned it off for a week and it’s been fine ever since..

Probably sensors failing. Same happened to me. Taking it to dealer this week to replace on Toyota’s dime.
