Desert armor shop hard shell rtt?

Wondering everyone’s thoughts/opinions on the new hard shell rtt for a 5’ bed from Desert Armor Shop? Is a doppelgänger of iKamper Skycamp Mini.

 

My best guess is that the Chinese or whatever overseas company that works with ikamper has started making these items for other companies. Torro off-road has their version and roofnest has one as well. All same form factor (except roofnest hardshell is uglier). So far I think Desert Armor is the way to go. I can’t imagine the ikamper build quality is going to be better. Torro gives a generous veteran discount. Desert armor hasn’t responded to my question about a veteran discount.

So to answer your question. Less a doppelgänger and more of a less expensive twin.
