So getting out this AM I had to resort to 4LO. Then the rear locker. All good locker off switch to 4HI and damn 4x4 indicator flashing at me and buzzer beeping. Drove 3/4 mile. No matter what clutch disengaged stuck in 4LO. So I stopped. To N. Then clutch. 4x4 switch. No change. Frack. Then just sitting goes to 4HI as switch indicates. Buzzer off.

    Anyone had this happen?

You can't engage/disengage 4LO while moving which, if I'm reading right, you were trying to do initially until you stopped.

When you finally stopped and did all the correct steps, it disengaged.

Technically speaking, the owner's manual says that a manual transmission truck can go from 4 Lo to 4 Hi at speeds under 1 mph. In practice, you roll to a stop before the truck makes the change.

In any event, double clutching before switching usually does the trick.
