No comment ...you should have seen what it looked like before I bought that this summer. I must've swept 15 pounds of dirt and crap out of that garage space and moved all my parts to my basement.

Oh god, my neighbor is so bad I can't stand to listen to him. I think he just likes to take out his anger on those drums.

Well here’s the one I’ve got at home. Got it for basically free just needs some work to get all the drawers working. It’s full of random shit right now from around the house. Can’t wait to build the new shop and get it and the other boxes in there

Im thinking it was user error and the dealer wouldn’t exchange it so they chucked it in a press and hung a 10’ pipe off of it.

Only if your giving your dealer a $1000.00 a month in payments.

I would love to know the story.

I am in a Snap on group on FB and tons of people bitching that their guy is a Dbag when it comes to replacing broken tools. I have been buy off SO for 34 years and never had a dealer not replace a broken tool for me.

Ive seen them refuse for intentionally abused tools. I still think that wrench was damaged by improper use and the rep refused to exchange it knowing corporate wouldn’t credit them for it so the customer took it to the extreme under the reps advisement.

Which is one of the things I don’t get. Now this is based on what a dealer told me years ago. This is my understanding. Wrench # weighs xx amount. So dealer gives you warranty wrench, throws broken one into box. At the end of the month/quarter dealer sends back box with list of broken tools. Corporate receives box, weighs it as long as weight matches what is supposed to be in there they just send it to recycling. Never even check unless there is a discrepancy.

I never had any problems with my tool Truck dealers getting warranty on tools that failed under normal wear and tear.

Use a Torque Wrench as a breaker bar not so much

Lowes has the Commander series storage devices on sale right now. They have the perfect square 5 gallon buckets to store in the bed of the truck. Even comes w/ a lid for $5. It’s very sturdy.

Another good find was a 3’x4’x3/4” mat at Northern Tools for $20. It’s heavy duty. It is an anti-fatigue mat but I got it to put in the bed of the truck to stop stuff from siding around. I saw the suggestion for this somewhere on TW. Can’t remember where to give the person credit. If it was you, Thanks.
