Yeah, top row split in the gulley. I cut it out and replaced with tubing. So far so good. Glad the leak is gone, the noise was getting worse and annoying. There was a bit of lost power too, response is better now.

 

Trying searching mayne people here are better then me with that deal. Im ordering an aem pump for my truck? Are the pumps the same for 05-15 between 1gr and 2tr, i have a 2tr so if anybody has the correct part number that would be the best. Thanks. Once step closer to the turbo setup.

 

The AEM pump is universal. So how you go about installing it may be slightly different than for the 1GR.

Check out www.urdusa.com. They should have a fuel pump kit, and then you select which pump you want to go with the kit.

 

Ok thank you. Yeah i saw theyre kit i was just going to order the pump myselffrom a different dealer i just didnt know if it took an offset or inline pump so to say. Sorry to derail yall conversion.

AEM 50-1000 in my 2TR, its a 340Lph

 

I had used the same hoses, and actually had one rupture on cooldown in my driveway...just as an FYI.
I since switched to a Kinugawa braided AN kit, and also threw some heat shileding over them for extra protection from the turbine housing (Which was also under a turbo blanket).

 

Interesting. I have some heat wrap around the one closest to the turbine, no problems so far.

Yeah thats what i ordered. After i got the pump and sending unit in it was a pretty simple task.I just got the pump installed, clutch from lce (300whp) and new flywheel, and finally got the fitting drilled and tapped for my trubo oil retun. Now i just needs some fitting and such and its turbo time. Goal is to have it forced induction in two weeks. I ordered the tial 4.6 psi boost actuator for my GT2871R

 

Good turbo selection. That is the size that I keep telling my friend to get for his 2TR. Keep us updated.

 

So it was 23° this morning and my truck wouldn't start... I have the command afr gauge on torque and it was at ~5:1 while trying to crank which seems a little rich to me but what do I know? Apparently it needs even more fuel based on what this guy did, is there anything like this in the mapecu3 software?

Cold start enrichment. I don't know about on the MAP-Ecu. @MadTaco461 may know? Figure that the OEM ECU would still take care of that.

 

Did it smoke at all while cranking? Stutter while cranking?
Or did it just crank?

 

Anybody run no cats with there turbo setup with urd o2 simulator?

 

It would hit 1 lick every 3 or 4 seconds. Yesterday it was 27° or so and it fired up and ran for a few seconds and died but the 2nd time around it acted kinda right and stayed running

 

Yes... I feel like questions will ensue long the lines of "how is that working for you" to which I will reply, "I always have check engine light on for one reason or another, but its almost never cat related"
