Just jack the truck up, lube the threads with wd40 and you can lower them. Be sure to loosen the set screw a little, but not too much.

Also you won’t gain any travel, you’re just changing where in the range of travel you’re resting.

So instead of ride height being here

    ———————|———

    It’ll be here

    ————|——————

just a random example to help illustrate it if the dashes is your full range of travel

Make sense. You're saying if I lower the ride height, I will have more down travel and less up travel, yeah?

@3pooches, it looks like you used the leaf spring to locate the lower control arm...true? Also how long is the LCA and can you post fotos of the mountings on the rear axel with a ruler for scale. Are you following an engineering drawing?

Yes, I used the leafs to help locate the rear axle. After taking lots of measurements, the leafs were a little off, but the links are adjustable. The lower links are about 48”. I’ll get some better pics over the next couple days. I don’t have the mounts welded to the axle yet, but I should have everything mounted up by Thursday.

I love how an escalator can never be broken, it can only, become stairs.

. I can imagine the look on my wife's face when she rolls over in bed in the middle of the night, and I'm holding a baby monitor screen, looking at my truck in the driveway!
