A rare, 100+ year old item I collect shows on its way to its destination, but info usually shows departed the facilty. Been showing same message since the 11th. Called the local PO in Quincy who contacted someway fhe distribution center. Anyone with boots on the ground check into for me? Maybe I need a few more days of patience. Please PM me if of help.

I had this happen and got the runaround. I went to the post office and finally found someone to help me on the second try. My package was being held in “quarantine” because there was a spill of a hazardous substance on the same truck. The spill was coconut oil. I signed for it that I will accept it in that condition and release them from all liability. If I didn’t go there, who knows how long it would have taken them to notify me.

Would be on hold over 20 minutes, will wait another day. I have a old phone unable to enter tracking.

Plus, this is a call center, need someone with contacts. Even I could look up a number. In the past, has taken a few days to get it on it's way, so maybe some patience.

USPS tracking is awful, I wouldn't put much trust in it. Hope you get your package soon!

His issue is with the USPS not UPS. That reddit forum might not be able to help him.

I've been over anxious for a week, package came from the UK, felt better when I saw it passed Customs in NY, but shows no new message since the 11th, if loaded on a wrong truck, may take a few days to get sent back, usually tracking shows accurate info on when to expect, but I've had a few that got the scenic tour. A call to my local PO usually gets it resolved.

I'm waiting on a package from Singapore, so I feel your pain. Hopefully they get you sorted - I never hold my breath with packages though.

I've never not gotten a item I bought off evilbay. Maybe five items have taken a long way from Sac to get to me. This is a 110 year old, really rare item.

Well don't leave us hanging! What'd you get? I was going to guess a new stove, but don't want to assume.

Make sure it actually says it passed customs. I get stuff from China and Japan a good bit, and the message I usually get is something like "Processed through facility ISC (city)" or "Inbound out of customs" usually means you got a few more days until tracking gets nailed down to your place.

I feel your pain. I shipped a supercharger to be rebuilt last week. USPS tracking showed it out for delivery 3 days in a row. I check the weather for the area I shipped it to and sure enough, the weather was garbage.

I hope you get your item soon, good luck!

Best case scenario probably still sitting at the customs. It all depends on what other party wrote on the declaration. You may not ever see that package if someone decides to add it to their "collection". Happened to me before with USPS, parcels fall in to black hole and disappear. Never ship anything important with USPS, use FedEx or DHL.

and starting a tw thread is a lot longer than that.

used those call centers before, they are great at calling different locations and getting info.

and in all honesty this thread feels like a lonely cry for help, and a call center hug may do you some good.

Waiting for a stove like this one, only one year younger at 110 years old. Primus 96. Shipped from the UK. My wifi was down for over an hour. Cleared Customs in NY last Friday or so.
