I'm not sure if this question is in the right area. The pressure washer is going to be used to wash vehicles among other things.

My gas powered pressure washer would lose about 60% to 70% of it's pressure. Then return after a few minutes. There's no hissing or spitting as if there was any air in the system.

    Is this normal?

It's my first pressure washer, so I don't have any experience with it.

Just a update, I called FNA Group. Their suggestion was to take it in for repairs under warranty.

Since I'm having issue already, I ended up returning it to Home Depot under their 90 days return policy.

The pressure washer that I bought and return was the Simpson model # 60735 at the Home Depot.

I borrowed a 2450 PSI, 2.1 or 2.2 GPM Troy Bilt. The Simpson clean faster, and better. Remove stuff the other pressure washer couldn't.

The only problem was I couldn't reach the highest part of the house. Neither pressure washer couldn't reach. Their wasn't much differences in the water steam distance. Consider their about 1000 PSI difference between the 2 pressure washer. I probably would buy another Simpson pressure washer, hopefully with better luck, on the next one.

Does anyone knows if it normal to hold the spray gun handle while starting?

Is it normal to put the choke on the half way mark when the motor is hot, to start it?
