Do I need a specialty shop for an alignment, I Have a 3 inch lift.

    With lifted applications I feel like you have two options:

    Take a couple minutes and educate yourself on alignments and what each adjustment actually does. Work with the tech at your alignment shop of choice to get it dialed in. Lifted trucks will sometime put you "In the red" on the color coded alignment machines, but since your lifted it could be a perfect alignment. This may require you to educate the tech yourself which I learned can be a sensitive processes.

    Or talk to the tech who will be doing your alignment, do a kind of knowledge test with them to see how competent they are..then just trust them!

    Don't ignore the lower ball joints. Those can break without warning and cause much collateral damage or even serious injury. There are plenty of posts to the effect of "I'm sure glad that didn't let go on the highway."
