A ways back I put an aftermarket headlight on my 18 TRD OR. I noticed that the DRL is not on while in the auto position. However, the DRLs do work if I turn the lights on. Anybody know if there’s. Separate fuse for the DRLs? Dealership wouldn’t troubleshoot because I have aftermarket headlights using the exact same connector as OEM. They were working fine in the past.

Edit: didn’t realized I posted this in the marketplace please delete or move.

Try contacting the manufacturer of the aftermarket headlights

The DR lights go dim when the headlights are on and full brightness when off. So there is a separate circuit. Idk about a separate fuse though.

I had a similar problem as yours, but i wasn’t dealing with aftermarket headlights. I blew a couple of fuses trying to re-install my grille lights. I blew the DRL fuse located within the engine bay fuse box and the back up lamp no.3 fuse which is located in the cabin. It’s a 7.5 amp fuse.

My DRL’s were not working properly in the ‘auto’ position either, but were definitely working with my headlights turned on. Replacing those two fuses solved my issue. Hope this helps you out.

Well so the LEDs are off in the auto and I got back from a trip last night and started the truck and noticed they are working(when headlights on) except the left side is flickering constantly and noticed the 10A fuse is blown in the fuse box..
