Ordered these Intro-Tech Automotive HEXOMAT and am returning today for the Husky classic ones. These are garbage, fit fine but provided zero water collection and were literally a thin piece of rubber cut to fit. Probably costed $3 to make these lol

I am thinking of getting the grey Husky mats to replace my 19 year old floor mats in my 2001 single cab with 98,000+ (s)miles on them. does anyone have pictures of them in their grey interior truck so I can see how they look? Thanks.

No pics, but I chose to pay to ship my grey huskymats back because I thought the grey looked so bad. They are a completely different shade of grey and I didn't think they matched at all. Swapped them for black and they look great.

You've got a 2000 though right? I think the interior colors changes ever so slightly between the 3 1st gen styles so they might look better in a 2000 than a 2001+ or i might just be anal about this kind of stuff.

edit: and here's a random pic i just found, but not my truck:https://www.tacomaworld.com/media/husky-liners.77952/

Finally pulled the trigger on a gray pair (front and back for my DC) of the laser molder WeatherTech mats. After having them for a week or so I wish I would have gotten them sooner. The fronts should be compatible with your '01.

Mine are fine too. My truck is a bad weather and wheeling rig so they're always dirty. Don't spend any amount of time noticing whether they match the interior plastics or not :notsure:

Only regret about the Huskies is that I didn't buy them 8 years ago when I got the truck because they were "too expensive"

Do you have manual or automatic? Weathertech is what I would prefer. Unfortunately it looks like folks with a manual trim them for the clutch. Unfortunately, I do not want to trim new floor mats.

Here's the grey, yes its an old model but you get the idea. The fit is actually better than photo shows.

DC and reg/xtra cab are different. DC center hump is wider due to the rear vent passage. Also weathertech claims not compatible with manual (most likely for liability)
