I’ve seen posts talk about speedo being more accurate but with my 265/75 Toyo AT2’s I had, once I hit like 70mph range, based on 2 GPS readouts I was about 1-2mph faster than my speedometer, just FYI. Probably varies per tire as my 265s were LTs with greater tread depth.

I haven’t tested it on my milder Mickey Thompson’s.

A few thousand miles on the Generals now and no issues other than a slightly choppier ride. Good in rain, mud and dry conditions. The snow test will have to wait a few months but I could do without it. Can't be worse in the snow than the BFG Rugged Trails in the snow. They look great on the truck IMO.

Hey, thanks for the update! I meant to comment earlier. I ended up finding a nail in one of my tires so I just went ahead and bought the new tires. I'm really happy with them so far. They look great and seem to handle great as well. I did notice some slight rubbing when making a really sharp turn in reverse, but I think I must have been on a slight incline or something because it has only happened the one time.

I am glad to report the Generals are fantastic in snow,...all conditions really. Very impressed with these tires. Night and day difference between these and the stock BFG Rugged Trails in snow. I had to be in 4WD with sandbags in the bed with the BFGs. No sandbags and most of the time 2WD is good enough with the Generals. We all know tires can make a big difference but this difference is huge. The BFGs were a good, not better, set of tires for everything other than snow and they rode smoother and slightly quieter than the Generals. I am happy with the choice and they are wearing well. Still look new. .....Also; no rubbing in any circumstance.

The suspension used on trucks varies depending on production date, package, options, region, and whether or not certain TSB’s have been applied or not.

Usually best to measure the truck yourself, decide what you’re looking to achieve and then make a plan to get there.

It sounds like the shop is more or less in the know, so working with them shouldn’t be an issue, but as I said, figure out exactly what you’d like and then consult with them on how to make that happen.

    Jeff
