P0302 or P0136 Advice

    So guys I recently got some rough idling on my 02’ 3.4 L V6 Taco. Got the codes it’s a cylinder two misfire P0302. I think I’m gonna go ahead and replace all 6 ignition coils, plugs, and wires.

    However, I’ve had the 02 sensor out for a while P0136 code. It’s been over a yr and never replaced it. Could that be the cause of the P0302 code? Or are these separate incidents??

    thanks and where do you buy your plugs, coils, etc

    Two separate issues. Replacing coils is probably a waste of money. They virtually never go bad. Plugs, wires, injectors, that's where you start.

    Are ignition coils the same as coil packs? I was under the assumption they’re the same. The printout from AutoZone diagnostic said replace ignition coil. Please clarify for me.

    Yes, you have 3 coils that fire 2 cylinders each.

    Always start with the cheapest stuff first. I had a P0303 a while back and it was a cracked plug. I tested the coils with an OHM meter and they were fine, as were the wires. (You test the resistance) The second P0303 ended up being a coil. I tested it again and it was bad. Got an OE coil as the original lasted 15 years and 236k miles. Also got new wires as i was on the originals there too.
