Need some help on picking the best battery - I'm in very cold Chicago and stock battery is now 3+ years old. Don't want to ever be stranded. Looked at an Odyssey, but feedback on Amazon said posts are backwards. I usually buy Optima, but heard similar installation issues. I don't want to buy an adapter bracket - just want a good AGM battery that I can count on for the next 5 years :)

I was the same with my old Ram at 5 years I was looking for a new battery then at 7 it still worked. So I said screw it at that point and the stock battery lasted my 10 years until finally giving out. I'm also in Chicago so it went through our winters. Maybe I got the unicorn.

There are TW group buys on NorthStars. Depends if can wait or a GB or not. 3 years on a OEM battery is not that long.

I've always gone with interstate batteries and never had any issues

Optima 31 will fit. Just need different jbolts and top plate.
