Got a link to where you bought those? I want to do something like that with my grill when I get it. Looks good.

Yea cheaper for sure. Someone on here used it and posted about it a while back. Definitely an option. If I recall it looked good that's why I kept the info. Good luck and post pics if you go that route.

So my clutch just all of the sudden went out on me. Drive totally fine all week and suddenly died completely.

I tried to drive out of the driveway and felt some resistance/binding from the driver side rear so I suspect my my E-brake froze to my drums and me trying to get drive out of that ended up smoking an already worn clutch (55k miles on original clutch, weird I know). Truck is at the shop getting a new clutch put in. Super sad times over here. I'm just really glad this happened in my driveway and not while out on the trails! Oh well, at least now I'll have a fresh clutch for the upcoming camping season. :sadviolin:

I thought I’d try out the air dam removal. I don’t really care about the mpg consideration and very much like the look. Now, I’ll have to look at some skid plates. :thumbsup:5EEFE80C-83E7-4E82-8FE9-02260648E73D.jpg

55k on your clutch, and it's out? Man - do you abuse it on occasion? I ask, because I beat my Dakota some, and it was fine through 115k with a V8. At least it's fixable...

I think my rear drums were frozen this AM too - in drive, parking brake off....no go. wtf. reverse. go. blah.

I've only owned the truck for 1 month so if there was any abuse it was done on the previous owners watch. I only really went off roading in it for the first time last Saturday. Didn't abuse it. Toyota wouldn't warrenty it because its a "wear item" and the dealership that sold me the truck said I was on my own because I bought it "as-is" but they did help me find an affordable shop to do the work. Toyota wanted $3,500 to do the work, shop we found is doing it for $2,000...swift kick in the fiscal shorts but such is life.

Nice! I like the Toyo’s. Nice look while not overly aggressive on the street.

There have been quite a few people on here with 3rd gens reporting premature clutch failure. But, Toyota says "wear item, $3500 or GTFO". I think there was one a few weeks ago that went out at 30k, guy claimed to have driven stick forever, no abuse or wheeling, and got the same treatment.
