2001 Front Axel leak

    I got a leak in my passenger side front axel of my 2001 tacoma. Any Ideas on what to check/how to fix?

    Photos would help with a diagnosis. CV boot, at the diff, or?

    So, as @tirediron noted, some photos or a bit more description would help us know exactly what's going on. Without that, I'll take two shots in the dark - though really, if it is your axle, it should be one of these two things.

    If it's your CV axle boot that's leaking (the rubber boot), then this will show you how to replace it:

    Here's what this will look like, if it's what you have.

    If you've got a leak between the front diff and your CV axle, then you've got a leaking seal. Usually, cleaning that is enough to get the leak to stop, but if not you can replace it.
