That’s one option. Just got the letter from Toyota about frame replacement. Haven’t opened it yet but to my knowledge they replaced the frame on mine when it came off lease. Need a day off work to figure this out.

Thanks @FastEddy59 , I was wondering if you had Krown or Rust Check treatments or if you know about Corrosion Free in Steinbach. Is the winter road salting in Wpg getting worse? I known if I still lived in Ottawa I’d be getting some form of rust treatment but just trying to get a feel for what’s required here.

I almost believe they salt preemptively. Roads were bare, maybe a little wet, then I watched a Black Beemer pass me & up ahead the flashin’ blue light made me slow up even more. When that truck started unloading’ salt ‘n brine, it was like an all out white napalm attack. Was powerful grateful for the Beemer shielding me from the Saltnado.

@edward204 Love your truck man! I'm looking to build something similar this year... What springs or clip settings are you running on those billies?

    Any more pics?

I honestly cheaped out as I’m planning on doing more this summer with my suspension. Right now I’m running factory springs on the highest setting on the 5100s ( only recommended for 4x4 dbl cab) I think it rides great haven’t had any issues yet but then again I haven’t hit any trails yet. I can send the link if you want on what I ordered from bilstein it came with everything needed to get your truck looking like mine.
don’t have any more pictures. Can take more later. Truck usually sits mon-fri as I have a work truck I use during the week

Thanks man! I was just trying to get a feel for what kind of lift heights I was looking at on your rig. I was looking at the 5100's with OME 888 coils but have seen a lot of people complaining of to much sagging. Right now I'm leaning towards trying a set of the non resi extended travel Elka IFP's but I'm waiting until I get closer to buying my truck before I pull the trigger. When you get more pictures I'd like to see them. You should post up in the 3rd gen Super White thread when you have more!

Yea honestly I went with the bilsteins because I know they’re top notch quality and soon I’ll be getting the 887 springs. Don’t really wanna go more than 3” lift as that comes with a lot more stress on control arms and such but we’ll see I’m sure I’ll be throwing a bunch more money into this money pit lol . The bilstein kit was also very easy to install. I got 2.5” lift with tires in the fron and 1.5” lift in the back with tires 50A5CD9C-1E83-48CE-9469-29656CB9F611.jpg

found mine on Kijiji for 800$ for all 4 brand new with stickers never used. Guess I just got lucky. But I was constantly checking pmctire.ca and quattrotire.ca best prices that I’ve seen. But so far so good with the ko2s definitely get what you pay for not much slippin and sliding at all.

Light output is really good I’d say similar to stock but I really need to adjust the positioning as I don’t really know how I need to look into it some more.

Rapid City here (The Canadian one, not the one in N.Dak.). Just traded in my 2015 Convenience package 5spd manual access cab for a 2019 TRD Sport DCLB in Cement grey. Wanted the extra back seat space. Unfortunately it means that I lost my manual transmission, but I can live without it. Though it did save my truck from getting stolen in Thompson.

Thanks! I am enjoying it so far. Definitely more Tech-y than the old one, which I don't really care for, but there are some good upgrades too.

    Another 'Pegger! What up?

Picked up my '17 DCLB back in December 2018. Added a few mods and aesthetic add-ons, including some awesome goodies made by @MESO (the Minimalist keyfob is my personal fave thus far).
