    Some of the bolt packs are for more than one model, so there could be extra hardware.

    The only question I can’t figure out is how people are doing the weather stripping. Any ideas? The “other” racks there’s a million posts about how and I can’t find one on this one... @monkeyevil Daryl did you ever get yours back on?

    I pulled the weather strip off, opened up the holes in the roof, loosely mounted the rack brackets and lined up the weather stripping next to the brackets on the roof. I used a silver sharpie and marked both sides of the bracket on the weather strip and used a pair of tin snips to cut the weather strip. After RTV is applied and the rack is installed, I used some 3M double sided tape and re-installed each section of the weather strip.

    Thank you. One more question. Is it possible to order the rack with black hardware or the black hardware can only be ordered separately? No need for an extra set of hardware and would like to save the $ if that is an option.

    Black hardware is an add-on option only. We buy in large bulk qty in the standard stainless finish bolts so you really wouldn't save enough for us to deal with having two part numbers on the rack.
