    Welcome!

Lived in BG for 4 years, not much TW presence in the area really. Strange for a town with such a strong car culture too.

The guys in Nashville are very active though

Not too involved in much of late. What was first diagnosed as Parkinsons ended up being another auto-immune disease of the central nervous system....Multiple Sclerosis...I'm struggling to walk, losing eye sight, among other symptoms. Will most likely have told quit driving soon. Neurologist told me to expect to.be wheel chair bound by summer.

    My fun is about over...

Up side? I'm about twice the age of most MS patients. Drug companies are jumping through hoops too get me in test programs.

Down side to that? I'm in secondary progressive stage... meds don't help.

Their are 4 auto immune diseases that are simular in many ways. Parkinsons, MS, Alzhiemers, and ALS. ALL suck....

May have had this for as long as 15 years. Symptoms started getting bad about 3 years ago. Worst part is the loss of vision

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Any time you wanna go out on trails I will come get you
My truck is getting caged next week and I will have both seat belts and harnesses in the passenger seat so we can make you as comfortable or sturdy as you want to be.
And I already planned the truck around room for storage of a wheelchair and any medical gear needed.
    Your offroad days aren’t done
Just time to move to the passenger seat.

Hey all .. been a while since I have creeped on the TW pages. Started searching random stuff, just to see what came up.

I can shed some light on this one.

I used to work for Trailblazers/TruckAddOns up until January of 2014. I had run some good sales here on TW for Weathertech, tonneaus, winches, etc. during that time.

The owner, Barry, declared bankruptcy in 2013/2014, hid a big pile of cash, and closed the place down shortly after I was let go. There were hundreds of orders that people paid for, but never received.

Barry re-opened Trailblazers/TruckAddOns with a new partner. He had to have a new "face" and point-man to get it back open because of the bankruptcy. We'll call the new point-man, "Fred".

Store and website get re-opened, Fred got sick of Barry and the BS, sued Barry, won the lawsuit, and ran Barry off. Fred continues to operate Trailblazers/TruckAddOns, but has since changed the name to "Big Ass Customs"

Barry took the pile of cash he hid from the bankruptcy and opened Smokey Mountain Truck Outfitters a couple miles from the old store.

    Here's the Karma ... https://www.stl.news/former-owner-o...ced-to-18-months-for-bankruptcy-fraud/303424/

I ended up not buying anything from there. Got a weird vibe the one time I walked through the “store”. What was funny was everything I enquired about has a two week lead time. Glad I didn’t spend my money there.

    I fuckin hope not.

I know many of the locals are in favor of it however as it will bring them jobs.

I'm hoping that I've got several more years of RRG trips and exploring in me.
