I got a garage, it's full of crap but you can get the back half of the truck in, it will be a tight squeeze though.

Love to but I just got home from work ...

F'n scaffolding company never did their setup, just dropped off all the equipment minus the locking pins.
Just 2 people trying to setup scaffolding 25-30' high on a huge curved staircase sucks donkey balls in a huge way!
And they only gave us 2 bloody foot boards. Had to use pulleys to pull the board upto the next level that made it even more of a gong show.
    Manager never returned our call....
So when we were done we threw all the parts in a big pile in the alley beside the bank,
and I took a big steamer shit on the boards .
Should be nice and frozen to the boards and snow covered by the time they come to pick them up.

And then cam home and shoveled all that slush crap from the end of my driveway . Yuck

    Feeling old now Lol

yeah you mentioned you had work but i figured i'd toss out an offer if you felt the need to leave work "because something happened and i need to get to someplace near the Hamilton Jailhouse on barton!"
    :D

and what sorta fucking company is that? aren't they suppose to set up as it's their equipment?

but good on you for "neatly" placing their equipment in such a out-of-sight spot where no one will drive by and take it away as scrap metal as most Hamiltonians do! friggen pricks, serves em right

not sure, which waiting for the train to pass through the intersection, i figured i pull out my camera and snap a few photos.
guy accross the street asks me if i wanna snap a photo of him on that bridge
    i said sure why not
swapped to my larger lens and kept snapping photos
then the man man climbs to the top and casually crosses the top of the bridge.....
i figured he'd wave while on the main pedestrian bit

not the fucking top of it

Install looks really clean, what winch do you have under there?

any plans for the front license plate?
not sure if this link would work, but
    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0791SSP78/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm running this mount for my SSO slimline, lots of spacing between the lead and the back of the plates. so your winch block will hide without issues. However i'm using zip-ties to keep the plate on

Yep their quote and PO was for delivery and setup at the end of business hours yesterday, so it would be ready before 09:00 this morning, 60' of curved staircase with the top rail height at 25' at the highest point above the stairs. Bracing and boarding. Certified techs to do the install. Close to 2.5k not including the scaffold and equipment rental and delivery/pickup. Security had been arranged and all sorts of hoops you have to jump through to work in these places outside of regular hours.

Here is a pic of part of this setup at the start , no braces supplied or guard rails, but I used ratchet straps as this thing started getting much bigger than this shot.

    scaffold_a723b6f6092c03f51f936d668195fd2dd083d4bf.jpg

That's 1/3 of the total gong show of a scaffold setup, the middle one, starting to set up the tall one and short side.
yes I was speaking to this person about their fall arrest equipment .. no hope of a good fall there.... After you bounce off the railing you still have a good fall...

All automated 347 lighting, tied into low voltage relays that are computer controlled.
    Open up the panels,
and nothing is labeled properly , not only lighting is controlled here.
and you can't shut down the wrong circuits.
When relay 5 is shut off through the controller, relay identified as 8 shuts off.
Inform the Manager about the lighting situation and he mentions that they have had numerous problems with "haunted lighting" and power,
they've had numerous companies out but most won't even touch 600/347 systems like this (lol pussies).
Does not care what it takes, or what it costs, can we fix it...
So now I'm playing exorcist on a huge relay bank, fed by 3 600V 3ph breaker panels.battery and generator backup.
that is controlled by some person using an app or computer.
Can't shut anything off without identifying what specifically it is, and getting permission first, but gotta diagnose and fix it...
    Live work permits signed off.
One slip of a finger or tool and if I'm lucky I'll only be blind for a couple hours to a day.
Hackery, Chaos and hauntings removed from cabinet, wires organized and my eyebrows intact.
Adrenalin crash ruined my ability to gloat.
Realizing that I have to go back to being a scaffold monkey put me back into a foul mood...

We bid the custom lighting retrofit stupid high because we did not want the headache,
lol we still got it and they were happy about it.
Then review the controller exorcism and start off with that we feel guilty for how expensive this will be,
and they reply is that they don't care send the invoice in immediately,
and now we have a meeting Monday to review a bunch more buildings with similar issues. :help:

We had organized a few "easy" jobs today to catch up on schedule. Lol 1st "easy" job, in and out...

It was in Brampton, so they had a little bit of time before the scrappers would be sniffin at it.
But after the crap I went through today,
    I would only be disappointed that the scrappers got it because;
the scaffolder guys would not get my "complaint form".
Oh I feel sorry for the ear on the other end of that phone on Monday.,,, Drill Instructors take notes when I go off.

Scrappers in Hamilton are efficient, We toss old panels, fixtures whatever at the back of the shop or the side of the road at a jobsite,
and it's gone in a couple hours. Downtown generally in less than 20 minutes...
If we want it gone real fast, we throw a couple pieces of wire on the pile.
Can never leave the back of the truck unlocked anywhere near downtown,
All those spools of wire are crackhead heaven.
They see an electrical contractors truck downtown the greasy freelancers start circling.

Lots of black ice on the highway to there. Saw about 6 cars in the ditch on the way there and back.
Watched somebody in front of us start fishtailing and almost end up in the ditch.
