This is the start of my new 2019 4D TRD longbed OffRoad Thread. ( Just like the ten year thread I had on my 2006)
    Reference: https://www.toyotanation.com/threads/emu-dakar-leaf-springs-install.187900/

Drove it first with 60 miles on it , took it home with 70 miles. It was lifted at a local houston tire shop by the dealership. Im looking at N2 with cell phone option for remote starting.
This is where the fun begins.

    https://performanceaccessories.com/index.php?id_product=645&controller=product

lift details: ( I would not have selected this but will try it for awhile. )
Performance Accessories introduces a 2.5” front strut extension and 1.5” rear lift for Toyota Tacoma pickups that levels the front-to-rear stance of the vehicle. PATL231PA features a polyurethane 1/4” thick front leveling spacers. The kit also includes 1.5” cast steel rear lift blocks with U-bolts; machined front differential skid plate spacers; and high strength hardware. Installation will allow the vehicle to run up to a 32” diameter tire. This system works without a coil spring compressor and can be installed within 2-3 hours.

Read Our Blog Article On Why We Use Two Spacers Instead Of One

    Benefits:
    • Provides 2.5-inch front strut extension and a 1.5 inch in the rear without modifying existing suspension
    • Allows use of up to 32-inch diameter tires/wheel combination without modifications for improved ground clearance
    • Allows use of factory wheels after installation
    • DOES NOT alter the OEM suspension geometry or factory stability parameters
    • Maintains the factory smooth ride

    Features:
    • High quality ¼-inch thick polyurethane strut extensions
    • Machined differential skid plate drop down spacers
    • 1" cast steel rear lift blocks with U-bolts
    • High strength hardware
    • Detailed instructions

    Proudly manufactured in the USA

A lot of build threads lately popping up in the main forum. Shouldn't this be in the 3rd Gen Build Forum?

This weekend Tested in deep sand , Galveston Island this weekend, Perfect, even enjoyed the crawl feature.
I did not test the MTS, but ran 4H , 4l AND I was super pleased.
Also tested with 22 foot boat , the stock springs and shocks that come with off road trd ( bilsteens ) are ok.
My 2006 was access cab, had not problems backing, I had no issues today , it will take a few times to get used to the truck, but i did figure out to turn off the back up warning, it screams with a trailer attached.
    super pleased.
ECT button pushed to get more snappy gear for trailer towing.

added the AC drain mod today, short and sweet, it drains now away from frame, at slow speeds, high speed, probably splashes many things.

Jan 18 2020 Ran my first oil change at 4500 miles. The dealer has it at 10K , thats to far . I found a great tool from Motivx tools MX2320B3

Includes 64mm 14 flute oil filter wrench for many late model Toyota, Lexus, and Scion 2.0L - 5.7L engines, along with a oil filter drain tool that makes the oil change process much cleaner by draining the filter housing prior to removal and an advanced engine oil funnel that allows for hands free use.
    Link : https://www.motivxtools.com/collect...wrench-mx2301-funnel-mx2341-drain-tool-bundle
The impressive part was the exact match for a filter wrench. The filter drain idea was perfect to keep the process clean.
need common metric tools , oil filter ,6 quarts of 0-20 synthetic oil. oil drain pan. rags ect. ( if you never did this , google tacoma 2019 oil change for detail )
not responsible for problems you may have. If you have mod fever back away slowly and ask lots of questions of others. you can blow your engine right here .
    you have been warned:
My Process: truck in park and blocked tires. (remove 4 bolts to remove front skid place there metric 12mm I believe , get your oil pan in place and use long extention to remove
oil filter cap . No mess yet , I put this part and o-ring on clean rag. install oilfilter drain tool making sure the unit is closed. ( see img on this post ) .
Turn the drain tool so oil will flow down the tube into oil drain pan, not a bunch will cover the bottom pretty good. After its stopped draining remove that part and
tube and place somewhere to all tube to drip clean, I hung it on a wire fence nearby.
Next get long extension and filter wrench, notice the cutouts , this is an exact fit , don not worry about the keeper on the engine , no facter here , remove
this part is a bit messy , I set the filter off to the side not knowing if I might need it or if it had a special direction or orientation. ( it did not ) . I used clean rag
and wiped as much old oil out as I could , there is a o-ring here, notice take pictures or what ever you need first then remove large o-ring. Get new 0-ring from
oil fiter package that same size, get some oil on fingers and apply to new 0-ring. Install on filter can . There are some directions on box.
Ok get filter and install in filter can with new o-ring and hand thread back on engine . Use tool and torque to spec. I felt comfortable enough to do this without tool
keep in mind its basically plastic and you will screw yourself by cranking down on this like there is no tomorrow. careful if your not confident about this.
Next is drain plug , 15MM I think, get pan ready 6 quarts is coming your way. This bolt did not have a washer, I could not get the one off the pan, So I added one
that came with the filter and reinstalled after the drain was completed. I suggest torque here to factory specs, I did not , but comfortable to do it myself.
Now that everything is back on and tightend to factor spec, get you new funnel assembly and add 6 quarts of sythentic oil back in. Replace front skid plate. Document your mileage
and clean up, I put old oil back in containers to take to local recycle place. I cleaned and put all the motivx parts back in the box for next time .
    oildraintool.jpg
    oil wrench
    MX2320_Img4_enhanced_800x.jpg
I do not believe that the quick oil places would do a good job at this . I bet they charge more because its not a spin on filter.

I cannot find this for a 2020 Tacoma.
Every listing on Amazon say it won't fit my truck
