I was bored today put a whip on

 

How's it work? I still haven't figured out why mine doesn't work. Maybe its my 30 yr old cb

Thanks man! Have to figure a (less complex) way of turning off the DRL in my grille (I have off parking light circuit) when I turn fogs on. They are high enough that I've been bothered by a little glare in front. I tried just using the fog +wire to a relay coil, and it did NOT like that. It can wait....

I am not the official word, but the C&C FB page has been consistent with staying second Saturday.

 

If you need a tow hitch I have the center section for cheap too. You just need to put your plastics on it.

More to come, I would not be surprised if it don’t rotate weekends and or days like cota

 

I don't know if it works any better I've been driving back roads all day with it on and I haven't heard anything yet I'm still driving back road right now

Are you able to tune a whip without a tunable tip? Thats what i couldnt figure out lol. I rarely use it so its not a big deal, but i would like to sort it out at some point..

that makes sense with the much bigger venue, may have to work around their schedule a little more. Still stoked! Thats gonna be awesome

 

Yes you half to tune your antenna regardless if it is a tunable one or not, otherwise you stand the chance of burning up your radio.

Afternoon SATX! The wind made ATX C&C the coldest meet I can remember - worse than freezing - wind would not let up, and we spent the first hour mostly in the cabs of our trucks! My wedding ring fell off my cold hands three times, before I wised up and pocketed the thing. At home and warming to some more coffee!

 

While we did the bumper install on mine he told me about that mount and couldn’t find a installed pic of it. Well he found it and tagged me.

 

Does anybody know how to shorten 102 inch whip antenna I'm getting reading at 2 I checked the cable for any shorts or continuity I didn't find any
