Do you have 9 or 10 inches of fender gap with the 6.5 lift?

Nice looking truck man! I’m about to piece together my suspension now and going to go the 4” route. My last 2nd gen Tacoma ran maxtrac/Bilstein and Dakars, and I loved it, it also had a pre runner look which I personally like, about .5”-1” nose high. If I want to achieve that same stance with my 3rd gen sport, would the icon stage 1 rtx give me that?

Sorry for reviving this but, I tried looking all over for the answers.

Does the spindle lift up the rear also? or just the front?

Also, do they make spindle lifts for 4wd?

Spindle lifts are for 2WD only....depending on kit you purchase you can get blocks and new shocks through maxtracs for the rear

    Oh ok, Got it!

How much do you recommend lifting the rear if I lift it with 4 inch spindles?

Sorry, I'm very new at this. What comes with a 3" lift?

And what is a bro lean?

    @keonigt

there’s different options to get your lift in the rear...maxtracs comes with a 3” block, extended ubolts and longer shocks. I think most on here will tell you Ada leaf and Bilstein shocks is the best way to go on the rear.
A “bro lean” is when it’s higher in the rear than it is in the front. Then you have a “Cali lean”, higher in the front than in the rear.

Wow. Thank you for dropping all that knowledge on me. I appreciate it.

So for spindles, the spindles lift the front up and then the blocks lift the rear up? Is that correct?

Also, if i decided to go the AAL route and Bilstein shocks route, I would just use the spindles to lift the front and then the AAL and Bilstein shocks would lift up the rear?

“Dropping knowledge.....” lol more like very loosely paraphrasing what I’ve read on tw. But yes...that’s correct. Spindle kit which will include extended brake lines in front and whatever you decide for the rear.(no matter what you decide, you will need longer shocks and brake lines on the rear) All this being said, if you have a 4x4, you can’t do spindles.

If you want better ride quality I'd recommend going with either an AAL or the OME Deaver leaf pack replacement. I went with the leaf pack and I gained 3" from that in the rear and also got the Bilstein extended rear shocks.

Best place to get a kit put together for yourself is Headstrongoffroad.com. Give them a call and ask for Marie. She will get you the best price, discount and fast free shipping. She knows her stuff as well so go give them a shout.

I was looking into a bunch of leaf kits that you guys suggested. Is it also possible to add a block to a new leaf set?

Also, are longer shocks required if wanting to lift the rear?

I added 2" blocks under my leaf pack. The shocks work for now but I will need to get some longer ones eventually. Yes they are required when lifting the rear.

I’m planning on going with the 4” spindle kit for my 2020 Tacoma. The only problem i have is that the kit states that it comes with 2 2” blocks for the rear.

upload_2020-1-22_9-53-2.jpgDoes that mean that the rear will only be lifted 2”?

What options do I have to get an extra 1” lift in the rear?

My goal is to be 4” lifted in the front. And 3”-4” lift in the rear.

OME Deaver leaf pack, AAL, 3-4 " blocks.

Talk to Marie at Headstrongoffroad. She can get you a custom lift put together for what you're looking for.
