trouble with my dodge got very loud

    well i just got a dodge p/u that has been riddled with problems, just replaced the trans, the starter is going out, its straight piped and today i was passing someone and the exhaust got way louder than usual, i mean way louder, whenever i get to 2000 rpm it roars almost to the point where it annoys me

    idk what caused this, could it be signs of anything bad?

    I would agree with exhaust leak. My old mustang got really loud once. Turned out the welds on my mufflers rusted out.

    thats what im hoping, im seafoaming it tomorrow and checking for exhaust leaks.

    its a decent full size truck

    i prefer my taco but it just isnt as suitable for a daily driver
