    Hi all,

I’m hoping to clean my throttle body sometime in the next week or two. I’m pretty inexperienced with working on my truck (95’ 2.7L 4x4) so I’m not sure I want to attempt it myself, but I would love to learn it. If anyone in the Phoenix area wants to help me clean the throttle body, I can come to you and bring a case of whatever beer you want! If TW terms and conditions don’t allow for this let me know and I’ll take this post down. Thanks all!

It’s a $6 spray can of throttle body cleaning fluid. An old tooth brush. Roll of paper towels.

If you clean it like this without removing the throttle body you risk dumping a lot of gunk down into the IAC valve and clogging that mechanism up.

If you must clean it without removing it then don't spray a lot of cleaner in. Just wet a paper towel or rag and wipe it down.
