    That’s a cool thread but I’m more interested to see how everyone ran their wires and mounted ballasts etc.

    I made all custom wires with weatherpak fittings and nylon braid over everything. Took a lot longer and a lot more zip ties than I was hoping for. After lots of research I ended up sticking ballasts and ignitors to engine room walls with weatherproof 15 lb/sq inch velcro and haven’t had any problems.

    Some quick pics, I just put the pieces as close as possible and ziptied until everything was locked in place. The H17s work great, if I did it again I'd try the D2S for a bit more output, but upgrading is not necessary nor worth the time since this is already in place. Installed in 2017, never had a problem with them. These wires run Lo/Hi, DRL in signal housings, and switchback halos. Installed in CAPA TYC housings which have the butyl seal. I used Tesa 51036 tape for harnesses and some liquid electrical tape and self-fusing silicone tape can be spotted for waterproofing. Not the prettiest but it would take a lot more time to improve the aesthetics.

    I really like these connectors for compactness and they have the slot to mount them with a strip of stainless steel if necessary:
