@DrFunker looks like we will have about 3-4 inches on the ground by the end of the dance. I talked to the fire chief yesterday and his father with bring his plow truck and make sure the entrance and what not are all cleared out for people leaving. I think arrival should be fine, I might call for some sanding to be done earlier though, just so something is down for grip.

Not sure how many, but over 100 tickets sold, I think closer to 115 right now, hopefully grab a few people that come later. Have balloon arches, drappery hanging from the ceiling for that "tent" feel. lighting, cotton candy and popcorn machines etc... going to be fun and always good to help out the FD.

Making the very long, difficult and last minute decision to not head out @Bridge4
Hope all went well and everyone had fun. We will be there next year.

    Sold 121 tickets, had 13 @DrFunker s who didn’t show.:boink::rofl:

Good time tho, weather has died down and we will make it until the original end time. A few people went home after jasmine and Aladdin came out and got photos.

doing raffle drawing now and then we will see how long people last for, fun night as always tho:thumbsup:

Most of the people I spoke to coming from your way said Pittsfield was a nightmare and then once they hit 43 it was a whole new world.

Hopefully you guys had some fun to replace the dance. The fire fighters shut down the cotton candy table by like 7:45. I asked one of them why and she told me that after some of the girls were on their 4th stick, they decided it might be smart to cut them off. :rofl:I know my nieces had 2, and one of them 3.

I see what you did there. :D

Our road wasn't even touched until about 9:30-10:00. I bet pitts was the worst.

Wow! The cotton candy table.
We snuggled in with a movie and some popcorn. I told her we would hunt down some cotton candy later today. :anonymous:
She has never had it, but it sure does sound pretty cool! :cookiemonster:

Sounds like a pretty good night! Good luck hunting some cotton candy down. It's basically flavored sugar and air...the only stuff you need!

Chilly this morning working the lifts. Had to double up on toe warmers! Tomorrow morning more of the same I think...

Anyways, they had almost 6400 guests sunday, thats alllllmost the record, and it is the record since the new gate system apparently.

Better they do, the less my taxes are thanks to all the room tax and property taxes coming from there. So I hope they have a few more big weekends like this!

Yeah I couldn't believe it. The guy who did "Aladdin" for us on Saturday said they kept calling people in because they needed to open all the lifts to try to keep lines down. I figured MAYBE 2500-3k people, figured that's a ton compared to a normal day I work, but nope, almost 6500. Insane.

Snow is good tho!!! Will be getting out later this week after I'm done working.

yeah, this winter has been funky. January is almost over and still don't have a consistent freeze. Can't wait for the ticks this spring.
