Hmmm, I think I need one of these. I have had issues with mine leaking there in the past.
    Who makes it?

Finally solved the loud driveshaft 'PING' I was getting after letting off the throttle and the clunk when shifting between 1st and 2nd gear by talking apart the slip yoke and greasing it by hand using Ford Motorcraft XG8 grease, per @Timmah! 's video

Mark the slip yoke so you can put it back together exactly how it came apart, undo the 4 bolts holding the end to the pinion flange and take out the zerk fitting to relieve pressure.
Keep the other end of the shaft bungeed in place so it doesn't fall on your face

    20200120_113318~2.jpg

Got most of the old regular grease out with some rags and then applied the blue XG8 grease generously

    20200120_115312~2.jpg

    20200120_115829~2.jpg

    20200120_120444~2.jpg

    20200120_120744~2.jpg

Then bolt it back in. No more pinging or clunking!

Also no need to jack up the truck and remove the wheels...I had done that for something else.

Here's Timmah's videos that show it step by step

    https://youtu.be/oKX5UeE2Txs

    https://youtu.be/Jyltxe2nPEg

^ in his first video he uses regular grease but in the second video he talks about how the Ford stuff made for slip yokes works far better

Anyone know if the A/C idler pulley bearing is the same on the 4 cylinder as it is on the v6 engines?

I was gonna get one for my truck, but I remember reading that people complain about it taking forever to drain since it's a smaller hole size. just FYI

I thought about it and decided not too. I would be worried when fording frozen meadows that a piece of ice would open up the valve. Im ocd. Lol. I dont mind the old school way...
Although. If it drains slower, that means i can have another beer or two during the process. Its a win win...

Or it just gives me time to finish my tire rotation and top all fluids
