225k on 2.4 motor, #2 boot snaps on then quickly gets pushed up and allows air to escape around it making a ticking sound. I can hold it down, feel the pressure pulsating, and quiet the ticking sound. #4 plug stays put but I can feel a little pulsating pressure when pressed on.Other plugs normal. Some oil appears to be leaking from the valve cover gasket, suggestions?

sounds like spark plug has worked loose. id be afraid the carbon build-up will make it hard to reinstall. you shouldn't be getting air coming out of the spark plugs. that's exhaust gases.
