285/70r17 vs 255/80r17

    3 inch ready lift, headache rack, 17inch eagle alloys 285/70r17 cooper stt
    I currently have 285/70r17 cooper stt there the best mud tires I ever owned. But I want some skinnier mud tires that are around the same height and the only ones I can find are the 255/80r17 bfg km2's. Is any one running that size of km2's
