I think I read you hold the up arrow until you hear a beep.

Push the driver side up button on the steering wheel til an audible beep is heard, then it will stay in camera mode until you move the shifter out of gear or press the mode button again.

Ordered this setup back in May, finally installed it today! Super easy to install except for getting everything to fit with the stereo, I bet I spent 15 minutes trying to get everything neat and out of the way!

Has anyone added phone mirroring with this module?

    Car-Solutions said it is compatible...

So I got their A/V harness with q/d speed sensor wire.
Also grabbed a Car WiFi Router unit. I guess I'll see if it works tomorrow.

It was this, but I found a newer updated version of the box.

Big thanks @Sgt.Tee for posting your concern about the missing connectors in back of the HU. Ran into same thing on my install but all is good now.

Anyone getting the C1622 diagnostic trouble code after installing the controller? Says there is a short in rear camera. Everything seem to be working fine though.

I'm wanting to install a RCA extension from behind the head unit where the OEM rear camera plugs in. I need to extend the connection to the rear bumper area, and then add a second extension to then go back to the head unit. Reason for this is i have a Natika camera installed on the back of my travel trailer that i want to be able to manually plug in and disconnect the trucks rear cam every time i plug in to tow the trailer. My plan is to Cut the two video + and - wires coming from the OEM Backup Camera and solder them to an RCA male connector. from there i can then use two rca extensions to get the signal to the rear bumper area with a disconnect point and back to the head unit area where i will plug in the RCA into the Car solutions Rear RCA input. I'm planning to leave the Backup camera's power wires intact in there original position though and not sure that makes a difference.

Also, what if you need to remove your grille after the install?? does the Natika camera come with a disconnect or is it a solid wire all the way to the head unit?

has anyone used the Rear RCA input on this unit with any type of camera?

i'll let you guys know if it works when i finally decide to pull the trigger on this unit.

Does anyone know if this works with a 2020 OR. I was looking at 'Anytime Camera' and they have a different kit for 2020. I really like the idea of using the steering wheel buttons vs a dash mounted button. are there any other differences between CS & Anytime? Thanks

It worked. When on A/V it'll show the WiFi mirror screen. Front camera only kicks on when you go from P to D or double tap Mode.

Awesome. do you have a link to share which wifi mirror kit you went with? did you just use it in the front camera input?

I did my install today. I cut a hockey puck to mount dead center of the insert, as I didn’t want to notch or drill into the pro grill. Wedge it into the grill.

Super easy install. My only negative comment is that it takes .5 of a second longer to see the rear camera when shifting into reverse.

    Pretty happy with the product.

I ended up contacting them and yep, no eta :( I think it’s worth the wait but If there’s no movement in a couple of months then I’ll probably end up with the AnytimeBackupCamera

@abidar @payrow or someone else that has installed this.... especially if you installed it on a Entune JBL Premium . . .

WHERE is the RCA connector that goes to the truck's OEM rear camera? Or is there an RCA connector to that cam?
Am I supposed to connect the "Rear" RCA jack on the CS cabling to anything? I'm not seeing any existing RCA plugs anywhere. :annoyed:

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I guess I answered my own question by plugging in the front cam temporarily and reconnecting the battery then trying reverse and fwd with the shift lever. So for anyone else wondering, the OEM rear camera doesn't have an RCA plug to connect. The HU gets its signal from one of the other harness connectors.

I haven't run the wiring through the firewall yet, but I found a centered mounting location for the camera (in just about the only place possible on a 2017 Limited grille) . . .

From their website, it looks like the 875000 will work with 2014+ trucks. Has anyone with a '14/15 done this yet?
