    Hey everyone,

I’m no electrical expert and seeking advice. I do know how to crimp/splice, however. But I’d like to keep that minimum and be able to change things back to stock if needed for reliability reasons. I’m thinking of replacing the stock horn on my 3rd gen with a DIY aftermarket setup. When I bought a 12V small Gampro compressor on Amazon, I noticed it needs 16amps and the stock fuse i believe is 10amps.

What would I need to do to safely power the new compressor/horn setup and still have it activate when I push the horn on the steering wheel?

My suggestion would be to run a separate relay and fuse for the air horn and another switch to toggle between the air horn and the electric.

Where would I run that harness from? The wire that connects to the steering wheel which activates the horn in the first place?
